Why The Sodoma Way?
The Sodoma Way
When Managing Principal and Attorney Nicole Sodoma opened the doors to Sodoma Law in 2008, it was with the intention of building a different kind of firm. “When I started to put together the team, I focused on creating a culture unlike any other I had encountered: a firm family that showed commitment to our clients, to our team and to our community,” Nicole says. Over time, this commitment has become known as “The Sodoma Way.”
At Sodoma Law, our commitment is central to our success. For our clients, this means that they know they are not in it alone – we refocus our energy away from billable goal requirements by simply taking care of our clients. While financial stability and reputation is critical for any legal services firm, part of the best advocacy is not allowing billable time to be the driver. We believe that if an attorney is representing their client effectively, the billable time becomes secondary.
At Sodoma Law, we have a different way of looking at things. Whether you need a holistic approach to your case or a gladiator in the courtroom, we serve our client’s needs in order to get the results they deserve. This kind of advocacy is very special and is the lens through which we do our best work. Of course, “The Sodoma Way” is much more than that but that is one of the places where we began and one of the values we breathe. What else is in the secret sauce? Our Core Values.

So, how do we find the best candidates for our firm?
We formally established a set of core values that we openly seek in all of our candidates. This helps us find and select potential lawyers and staff who can succeed at Sodoma Law, in the community in which it serves, and who will best serve each of our clients. Some of these attributes are inherent in the individual, such as integrity and honesty. Other attributes are talents that can be developed over time, such as fearless creative problem solving and the kind of preparedness that balances confidence with calculated risk.
At Sodoma Law, success is our passion.
