Sodoma Law is a law firm with 6 offices across North Carolina and South Carolina. Over the years, our practice areas have expanded to include trusts and estates, corporate, real estate, and more; however, our main area of practice continues to be family law.

We are seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney for our office in Monroe, North Carolina who can support other senior attorneys serving clients with cases involving child custody, child support, divorce, domestic violence, and other delicate family law issues. This person can be a recent graduate who is sitting for the July 2024 Bar Exam, who plans to sit for the February 2025 Bar Exam, or someone with less than 2 years of experience. We are excited about this opportunity to serve new communities with the right team.

  • Licensed/will be licensed and in good standing with the North Carolina State bar.
  • 0-2 years (or more) experience working in a law firm. (Family law preferred).
  • Demonstrates passion to practice family law.
  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills specifically in high stress and emotional situations.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism while showing empathy to all clients.
  • Bilingual in Spanish & English is a plus.
