After working in the legal industry for almost 10 years, I found Sodoma Law. This has been the perfect place to continue my personal and professional growth. I knew that the tenacious and fearless leaders and I were the perfect match, from the moment I stepped foot in the door. Working with a wonderful group of people, my “Sodoma family," is what I believe makes the firm successful. I strive to help our clients and work hard on their behalf every day.

I can be my best, professionally and personally, at Sodoma Law. I have had the opportunity to grow a great deal practicing with colleagues who inspire me to learn more and be more fearless in my practice. And, I have become a spouse and mother my family can be proud of by being successful in my career without sacrificing freedom and flexibility, which allows me to spend quality time with my family and be present at all the special moments that come along with raising a family.

Professional Development at Sodoma Law

Training

Each Sodoma Law employee and attorney have access to a variety of in-house business development and continuing education opportunities. We strive to provide the tools needed to improve each individual’s skill sets in areas they are passionate about – supporting both personal and professional development.

We encourage our attorneys to attend and even teach continuing education across his or her respective practice areas, to include events that support both local and state Bar Associations and the community as a whole. Additionally, each attorney completes quarterly Individualized Development Plans. IDP’s allow each attorney to work hand in hand with our Communications Director, Public Relations team, and others, to identify goals for growth and development and to effectively execute on those opportunities. This includes relationship building, speaking engagements, publications, and philanthropy.

Mentoring, Feedback and Evaluations

The comprehensive goal of the firm’s Creative Strategy Groups is to create and encourage relationships that allow each employee to feel comfortable seeking guidance, feedback, and input from their team members as well as a designated coach. We believe fostering an environment of creativity, transparency, and inclusiveness accelerates professional growth and connection to the firm.

Two of the factors that employees have identified as the most important to their professional career satisfaction are: Feedback and Communication. We believe that our unique approach to reviews, evaluations, and creative coaching reflect both an accurate and candid assessment of each employee’s performance, productivity, strengths, and areas for improvement.

Choosing the right career path, at the right firm, is a crucial decision in every employee’s journey. We are committed to putting the right people in the right seats at Sodoma Law and we encourage our employees to ask us the tough questions when it comes to our commitment to their development. We’re here to listen. We’re ready to help.
